How well do they drift?

Not as well as you’d think. Works best sliding them around a bit some weight transfer under braking.

That was nearly every day at the Hydraulic shop (lots of cyl inders longer and/or heavier than any one of our forklifts could move). To make it more interesting, all three of the forklifts were wildly different machines. Occasionally we’d have cylinders that required all three forklifts to move (think from very large cranes). OSHA would not have approved of loads requiring all three. Two is fine so long as both operators are good at it.

Things get real fun when you add in the capabilities of one designed and fitted with long forks. 90 degree turns as a for instance.

They do have a pretty squat wheelbase so I can see that making it tricky
